• Groundbreaking for the Denver Athletic Club Childcare Center, August, 2010

• Sawhorse Studio has completed the outdoor playground at the Robert E. Loup Jewish Community Center in Denver, Colorado (pictured here)

• Construction is completed on the entrance cave to the future children's garden at the Denver Botanic Gardens. The full children's garden is scheduled to open late 2010.

• Phase one is complete of the outdoor playground  at The Little Red School House Day Care in Breckenridge, CO

• The custom indoor play space for  The Little Treehouse Play Cafe is completed and open in Chestnut Hill, PA

• The Holiday neighborhood playground is completed and open in north Boulder, CO

• The Denver Botanic Gardens natural playground at Chatfield is completed and open 

• A residential playscape in White Hawk Ranch subdivision in Lafayette, CO is completed

• Cool Beans Play Cafe, located in Fort Collins, CO, is now completed and open

• Construction on Phase 3 of the Acorn School Playground has begun

Sawhorse Studio is a playscape architecture and construction firm that designs active play spaces and structures with an emphasis on natural elements. We design and build indoor and outdoor play areas , structures, and creative spaces for children in both commercial and residential environments. We provide creative solutions in the areas of playground design and build services, safety consultation and inspection services, and the design and fabrication of custom play structures. Treehouses, gardens, theme rooms, functional sculpture, activity tables, playhouses, artificial rocks, climbing walls, sand boxes, water-play components and integrated landscaping are examples of the various solutions that we provide our clients.
